Meet the Nurses Serving No. 4 and No. 7 Mines

Jessy Beasley received her RN degree from Bevill State in Fayette, Alabama. She has worked at a nursing home and Emergi-Care in Tuscaloosa. Jessy and her husband Jason have a seven-year-old son, Hunter.

 
Tammy Sanford is a native of West Virginia and earned her RN degree from Shelton State. She has 16 years of nursing experience including 14 years at DCH. Her father, Jerry Marks and step-mother Alice Marks, were employees of Jim Walter Resources. She has two children, Kate 16 and Seth 12.
Ashley Franklin is an LPN and will receive her RN degree from Shelton State in May. She has worked for Northstar EMS and West Alabama Family Practice and Sports Medicine. Ashley is engaged to be married in 2012.
 
Ashley Watson is an LPN and a Tuscaloosa native. She will receive her RN degree this May from Shelton State. Her previous work experience has been with Med Center North.

 
Mary Katherine Bishop is from Brookwood and received her LPN degree from Shelton State.  She has worked for Emergi-Care for the past year and will soon begin work on her RN degree.
 
Sonna Bishop received her RN degree from Shelton State and has over 21 years of critical care experience. She and her husband Dale, have two children, Brittany 24 and Hunter 21. She is also caring for family members Rainah 13 and Serenity 8.
 

Jean Weston is a native of New York and has 10 years of nursing experience. She received her RN degree from Shelton State and worked six years with Emergi-Care. Jean has a ten-year-old son, Mykel.

 

Lacie Phillips is an RN and earned her degree from Shelton State. She worked for DCH before coming to JWR. Her husband, Kyle Phillips, works at No. 4 Mine.
