September 2007 Lee Durden's Daughter to Appear in National Advertising Campaign click photos for larger view If you are looking through the August or September issues of
Teen Vouge, Seventeen or Cosmo Girl magazines, look closely
at the Mudd Jeans ads and see if there is any family resemblance to
No. 4 Mine's Lee Durden. Lee's 17 year-old daughter, Candace was picked from over 20,000 girls to be one of six Mudd Jeans Girls. The contest was based on an essay, photos and their community involvement. Mudd Jeans encourages teens to give back to their community and help others. Candace won a trip to New York for a photo shoot, a contract with Mudd jeans, a college scholarship and a donation to the charity of her choice. The pictures will run in ads for Mudd jeans through the fall and featured on the website
www.mymuddworld.com . Candace chose United Cerebral Palsy
of West Alabama for her charity. She has volunteered at the
UCP Fright Factory and as an office assistant volunteer with UCPWA.
Candace got involved with UCPWA because she had a personal
relationship with a family served by the agency. UCPWA received a
financial donation from Mudd Jeans on behalf on Candace to recognize
her contributions to the community. Candace enjoys modeling and hopes to pursue this as a career.

School. She was recently picked to model in fashion week runway
shows August 16-19 in Atlanta, Ga. Candace plans to attend The
University of Alabama next year and major in criminal justice.Lee started his career with JWR in 1987 and is Preparation Coordinator at No. 4 Mine. He also has a 19 year-old son, Jordan. |
