Employees refer to Jimmy Calvert, central shop coordinator, as a true team player. He orders parts for everyone in the division, putting in whatever time is needed without complaining. He works with purchasing and different vendors to obtain the best possible price on parts, saving the Company a significant amount of money. Central Shop Manager Jim Parsons said he has “never seen a person who exhibits the core value Customer Commitment, to the degree that Jimmy does. The 25 years of knowledge he has acquired pertaining to procuring parts is beyond impressive.”

Jerald McKinney
Mine No. 7 Outby Area Manager, Jerald McKinney puts a great deal of focus on ensuring a safe workplace at Jim Walter Resources. Under Jerald’s direction, accidents and MSHA citations in Mine No. 7’s outby area are at a three-year low.
